My name is Jonathan Newell. I started J. Newell Builders LLC in September of 2020. I got my start in the trades in 2009 when my friend’s dad asked me to work in the summer. Through ten years of professional and life experience, I discovered a passion for it. I advanced from a crewman to a craftsman wanting to build for my own clients. I am currently the only full-time member of my company. I focus on one project at a time and have total control of the quality of service provided. I aim to bring a thorough process with attention to detail to all my jobs.

When I’m not working, I am usually buying tools or eating chicken wings with my wife. I enjoy hiking and fishing, especially in the Adirondack Mountains of upstate New York where I lived for 21 years. I play banjo and guitar in a Nashville-based trio band called Neshama.
